CtrlPass is a password management software that organizes your credentials and notes into individual Profiles and helps you store and access them securely and easily on a personal computer. It also supports secure password generation and Master Password recovery.
CtrlPass provides a Graphic User Interface (GUI) that:
* lets you create, edit, and view a profile straightforward,
* protects your privacy by hiding data such as password and notes whenever the GUI is opened and automatically closes it after a period of inactivity,
* allows you to import/export profiles in a plain text file.
CtrlPass supports a Profile Shortcut for quick credential access. The profile shortcut is opened anytime when you press Ctrl+1 (holding down the Ctrl button then numeric one button). It helps you:
* launch a website quickly,
* choose the right profile when on a web page that needs login/password,
* fill in login and password automatically,
* create or update a profile quickly.
